Finance Ministry has released GHC154m to pay nursing trainees – Health Ministry

  Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta A sum of GHc154 million has been issued by the Ministry of Finance to cover the outstanding balances owed by nursing trainees, according to information disclosed by Isaac Offei Baah, the Ministry of Health's Public Relations Officer.   Afenyo - Markin Alexander Afenyo-Markin, the deputy majority leader, has stated that he agrees with the Catholic Church's stance on criminalizing homosexuals. He stated that in his opinion, a person who claims to be a lesbian or gay should not be imprisoned for it. ECOWAS condemns attempt to disturb constitutional order in Sierra Leone, calls for arrest & prosecution of perpetrators

The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) has condemned the attempt to break into the military armory in Wilberforce in Freetown, the capital of Sierra Leone. The government of Sierra Leone declared a nationwide curfew on Sunday, November 26 after unidentified individuals attempted to embark on the illegality. The suspects “have all been rebuffed,” a statement issued by authorities said. “The public is assured that our government and state security forces are in control. “To enable the security forces to continue the process of apprehending the suspects, a nationwide curfew is declared with immediate effect across the country.   Felix Kwakye Ofosu, a former deputy minister of information, has advised Ghana's youth that they need the 24-hour economy concept put out by former President John Dramani Mahama. According to him, the 24-hour economy will allow for economic growth and the creation of additional jobs for young people. Local farmers are increasingly concerned about the high cost of agricultural inputs in the recent past. Some farmers have been forced to decrease the size of their farms as a result, which has decreased productivity. 8 Persons Confirmed Dead in Nkwanta shooting incident

  The  Minister  for the Interior  Ambrose Dery  has, on the advice of the Oti Regional  Security  Council and by Executive Instrument, banned all persons in Nkwanta township and its environs in the  Oti Region  from carrying arms, ammunition or any offensive weapons. The Minister said any persons found with any arms or ammunition would be  arrested  and prosecuted. This was after he imposed a curfew on Nkwanta. The curfew hours start from 5:00 PM to 6:00 AM effective Tuesday, November 21. . It followed a  shooting  incident that occu rred in the area. An assailant was reported to have opened fire at the central market area in the town on Tuesday, November 21 Several persons have been  killed  and others injured in the process. Photos of Abena Korkor's videographer are trending on social media.  Abena is trending side by side with her videographer identified as Nana China. According to reports, Nana China has been handling all Abena Korkor's indecent videos He is said to be a drug addict who is currently become a mess after losing his page. His photos have surfaced on social media after multiple bedroom videos of Abena Korkor went viral. Though Abena Korkor called out former NDC orgsnzer, Joshua Akamba and the Deputy Director of Cyber Crime of Police for being responsible of the leak,  there are claims that Abena Korkor has been hired purposely to orchestrate such political distractions so she le*ked those video herself.

WOMAN CRASHED TO DEATH AT BEGORO

 Following a deadly collision that happened on Friday evening around 5:00 p.m., a woman passed away at Begoro in the Eastern area.  A trike bearing the markings M-22-GS 9357 and a Rhino car with the number GR 6413-19 were engaged.  The deceased who was identified as Pat, also known as Maame Esi was run over by the Rhino car and died as a result of sustaining numerous injuries.  After suffering severe injuries, the tricycle rider and another passenger were quickly taken to the hospital for emergency care.  Emergency services, such as the Ghana Fire Service, the Police Service, and NADMO, were quickly notified and dispatched to the location in order to guarantee the safety of all parties concerned.  The deceased's remains have been transported to the morgue for preservation
